B182 is the official iPhone app for the Blink 182 fan site, B182.com.

Following the recent reformation of the band and a new surge in fan interest, the owner of this web site relaunched his online operations – including adding a complimentary iPhone app to the roster.

The B182.com web site is a rich-featured online community, built around the phpFox social networking solution.  This system includes blogs, event calendars, photo galleries, live chat and discussion forums.

The app takes a number of feeds from various sources, including data from the B182 web site and official Twitter feeds from band members.

In addition, users can log in to the app using the same account details they use on B182.com, which opens up the discussion forum right within the app.  They can post responses on their iPhone as well as catching up on the latest threads while on-the-go.

Registered users can also upload photos to the gallery directly from their iPhone and participate in live chat sessions.

This app was built using the Appwardly Mobile framework, which powers all the communication between the web site and the app.
